Almost there...

And in a week, less by a day, the time shall come to pass
in unison humanity through camera lens shall cast
collective gaze upon that distant-most among our orbs
that dances with our yellow sun eternally towards
the outward forces thrusting past our stars with speedy haste
the inward pull of one gigantic sinkhole dug in space
The New Horizons robot flung by NASA far and wide
will finally have ended it's epic 9 year ride
And as it cruises past the dark and coldest of the rest
Bequeath it will to us the images that are the best
humanity has yet to see, may never will again
unless a 9-year price is paid, and in advance, my friend!

And oh, P.S. whoops by the way, the part that I left out
is "Pluto 2" could never happen in just 9 years, no doubt
It doesn't matter if our ships could fly record fast
the orbits are unchangeable and can limit our attacks
We have to look for windows when a journey can take place
and one such time is coming up, but prepare your face
because this is it, in our lifetime.  Of this I can be sure.
Unless you can live about 176 years more!
